Loco Lion is a British-American brewery and restaurant perched on 26 acres of rolling farmland in Purcellville, Virginia, with views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Owners Nigel and Laura had a clear vision for their space. Getting there was anything but simple. In a single building, the project had to accommodate a commercial kitchen, two separate tasting rooms, a waterproof brewery production area, and an outdoor deck. The regulatory requirements alone made it one of the most complex builds Tristate has taken on. Add a mid-project expansion of 1,000 sq. ft. to the tasting room, and you've got a project that demanded constant coordination across every trade. That expansion, as it turned out, made room for something unexpected: a second-floor outdoor deck overlooking the mountains and farmyard below. When asked why they chose Tristate over the other four contractors they'd quoted, Nigel put it plainly: "What pushed us over the edge was meeting with Kevin and Daryl and hearing about the passion and diligence they put into their projects."
